Good morning! It’s Monday, which means it’s time for my weekly check in courtesy of “It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?,” hosted by Kathryn from The Book Date.
First off, some updates about me and my book, The Orchid and the Lion. As I’m writing this on Sunday night, the book has sold 30 copies! And, according to my Kindle Unlimited stats, 4,544 pages have been read through KU. That’s another ten people who have read the first book in the trilogy! If you have read it, I implore you to leave a review either on Goodreads or Amazon. I’ve also decided that the second book in the trilogy, tentatively titled The Lion and the Dahlia, will be my NaNoWriMo project this year. Feel free to add me as a buddy!
And now to the main event!
Who knew that promoting a book, starting an editing business, working as a tutor, and networking on Twitter would all cut into my reading time? Wild!
I’m still currently reading Lucid by L.R. Evans, which means that my list this week is basically the same as it’s been for the last two weeks. The only change is that I’ve been asked to read The Fox Mourns the Death of the Rabbit by Kon Blacke instead of Dripping Sweet.
On Deck:
*”What Love Sounds Like” — a Docile fanfic by Gammarus
*For Real by Alexis Hall
*The Fox Mourns the Death of the Rabbit by Kon Blacke
*Nerve Endings: The New Trans Erotic edited by Tobi-Hill Meyer
Posts to Look Forward to:
*Tuesday: Top Ten Tuesday (Halloween Freebie–I’ll be writing about the top ten spooky reads I’m looking forward to)
*Wednesday: Writing Wednesday (I haven’t decided yet what I’ll be tackling this week, but it’ll be good. :D)
*Friday: DOUBLE book review: Hidden Magic and Scorched Earth Magic by Elana McDougall
*Saturday: Author interview with Elana McDougall
There’s a lot of great stuff happening this week, so make sure to check back!
And don’t forget to pick up a copy of The Orchid and the Lion. As of Sunday night, I’m at #115 on Amazon’s “Transgender Erotica” list, and I would love to break into the Top 100!
